The Volunteer Program is designed to be a "cooperative program" where one hand washes the other so to speak.

Our volunteers earn FREE PROGRAMMING in exchange for their volunteering. ( see chart below / scroll down)

Volunteers are doing what they enjoy, usually with their children, while volunteering

What you can Do = How much you Earn
     
Weekdays at the Center in Mahopac = 1 point per hour
Saturdays at the Center in Mahopac = 1.5 points per hour
All days at Trinity Lutheran Church = 1 point per hour
Sundays at the Center in Mahopac = 2 points per hour
All days at Rehearsals = 1 point per hour
Distribute flyers at your school for a school year = 15 points for the year
Family Science Night = 6 points ( approximate time frame: 5:30pm-9:00pm)
Tri County Science & Technology Fair = 12 points for every 4 hours
Birthday Parties = 6 points per party
Field Trips = 6 points per field trip

BIRTHDAY PARTY = 50 points
FREE PLAY = 75 points
4 part workshop or enrichment program = 30 points
5 part workshop or enrichment program = 35 points
Hands on Science Day = 15 points
Evening of Science = 10 points
Playtime Adventure for 8 kids / 3 adults = 35 points
Field Trip for a class of 14 = 40 points
