DIRECTIONS TO SCHOOLS
From Discovery
Center.
Take Fair Street to Rte 311 to Rte 22 North to Rte 55 North.
Follow Rte 55 North past
the Taconic Parkway (you’ll go under the Taconic Parkway.
You will get to a point where MAIN STREET goes off to the left.
Go onto Main St. and start to look on your left -- Raymond Ave is
just a block or two from this intersection -- if you miss this turn onto
Main St. you can turn onto Raymond Ave from Rte 55.
Make a left turn onto Raymond Ave.
Go through two lights, then the school is on your immediate right.

Beekman Elementary

FROM THE
TACONIC...
exit Beekman Rd / Hopewell Jct / Sylvan Lake.
Make a right on Beekman Rd (also called County Rd 9).
Take Beekman Rd 2.5 miles to County Rd 8 (Greenhaven Rd).
Make a right on County Rd 8. Make
your first left on Limeridge Rd. Stay
on Limeridge Rd and you will see the school on the left side.
FROM CARMEL. Take Rte 52 to Rte 216. ( please note there is a
“shortcut” when you see the sign “Stormville” turn right onto this
road drive past the Stormville Post office, staying on this road until Rte
216 -- then you make a right onto Rte 216).
Follow 216 until County Rte 8 (DO NOT TURN) stay straight about
6/10 of a mile on the left is Limeridge Rd.
Turn onto Limeridge and go about a mile and the school is on your
right.
From Brewster /
Patterson:
Take Rte 22 North to Rte 55 West to Rte 216 West.
Make a right onto Rte 216. Go
about 2.4 miles and Limeridge Rd is on your right.
Turn right onto
Limeridge and go about a mile and the school is on your right.
From Putnam
Valley / Cold Spring: Take 301 to Taconic North
and follow as shown above.

Garden Street School
Garden St, Brewster, NY
Directions:
From the Putnam Children’s Discovery Center parking
lot, make a left onto Vink Dr to the stop light, then turn left onto Route
52. Continue on Route 52
through 3 more lights then make a left onto Route 6.
Follow Route 6 to the Brewster Firehouse ( Approx. 4 Miles)
At Firehouse, continue around the curve in the road, then make a
left onto Michael Nuener Dr. After making the turn onto Michael Nuener Dr, continue up the
hill. At the stop sign, make
a right onto Garden Street. The
school is at the end of Garden Street.
From Interstate
84.
Take Interstate 84 to exit 19 Rte 312; make a right
onto Rte 312 (GOING TOWARD CARMEL)
Follow Rte 312 to Rte 6. Make
a left onto Rte 6 Follow Route 6 to the Brewster Firehouse ( Approx. 1.5 -
2 Miles) At Firehouse,
continue around the curve in the road, then make a left onto Michael
Nuener Dr. After making the
turn onto Michael Nuener Dr, continue up the hill.
At the stop sign, make a right onto Garden Street.
The school is at the end of Garden Street.
** You can get Interstate 84 from Interstate 684
North. Take 84 West from 684
North.

Garrison School
Rte
9D Garrison
Take Route 301 (from the Court house in Carmel) West
towards Cold Spring. Follow
301 until 9D. Make a left
onto 9D South. Garrison
School on your left.

Gayhead School
Entry Rd, Hopewell Jct., NY
Take
Route 52 West to Route 376. Make
a right onto Rte 376. Go
about 1 1/4 miles to Entry Rd.
Turn right onto Entry Rd, go about 3/10 of a mile and the driveway
to Gayhead school is on your right.
Form TACONIC North--get off at Route 52 and turn onto
Route 52 West (I think you
need to go to the left for Route 52 West.).
Take Route 52 West to Route 376.
Make a right onto Rte 376. Go
about 1 1/4 miles to Entry Rd.
Turn right onto Entry Rd, go about 3/10 of a mile and the driveway
to Gayhead school is on your right.

Haldane Elementary
Craigside Dr., Cold Spring, NY
Take 301 West to Route 9D. Make a right onto Route 9D.
Your next right should be Craigside Dr.
Follow Craigside Drive to the school.
School is on Craigside Drive.
*** We are in the cafeteria, you can enter directly into the
cafeteria.

Highland Middle School
Mountain Ave., Highland Falls, NY
Take Interstate 84 (across the Newburgh / Beacon
Bridge) to 9W South.
Follow 9w South to Highland Falls exit. This is Rte 218 South (DO
NOT TURN ON rte 218 South in CORNWALL ) The
first time you see Rte 218 it will be in Cornwall-- you want to continue
on Rte 9W South over the mountain and pick up Rte 218 South near West
Point. Follow Rte 218
South take the right into
Highland Falls (you are now on Mountain Ave)
Follow Mountain Ave down the hill and the school is on the left.
*** The school is near West Point
so you may want to take the Bear Mountain Bridge if that is closer
to you.
FROM BEAR
MOUNTAIN BRIDGE: Take 9W North to Route 218
-- follow Rte 218 to the Business
District side. Make a
left onto Mountain Ave (there is a Nail Salon on the corner -- if
you see the Post Office you have missed the left turn -- turn around and
make your first right!!) Once on Mountain Rd look for school on Right
part way up the hill !!

Primary School
Route 52, Carmel, NY
Take the Taconic North to Route
301exit. Make a right
off the exit ramp onto Route 301. Follow Route 301 to Farmers Mills Rd (there will be spoke in
wheel as a landmark). Make a
left onto Farmers Mills Rd. Follow
Farmers Mills Rd to Route 52 (Farmers Mills Rd ends at Route 52) Make a right onto Route 52 and then go to second school on
left.
Alternate Taconic method. Take Taconic to Peekskill Hollow Rd. Take Peekskill Hollow Rd towards Carmel.
At the end of Peekskill Hollow Rd will be Rte 301.
Make a left onto Rte 301 and follow to Farmers Mills Rd. (there
will be spoke in wheel as a landmark).
Make a right onto Farmers Mills Rd.
Follow Farmers Mills Rd to Route 52 (Farmers Mills Rd ends at Route
52) Make a right onto Route
52
and then go to second school on
left.

La Grange Elementary
Todd Hill Rd, LaGrange, NY
Take the TACONIC Parkway North to Todd Hill Rd
(this is not an "actual" exit... this is one of those
"roads" that crosses the TACONIC that you are allowed to turn on to.)
Turn right onto TODD HILL RD.
Follow Todd Hill Road a few miles until LaGrange Elementary on your
right.
*** Please note that Todd Hill Rd is after the route 82 HOPEWELL JCT exit and before the
Route 55 Poughkeepsie/Pawling exit. So
it is Rte 82; Arthursburg Rd (not an exit.. just a street) then Todd
Hill Rd (this is where you get off)
then Rte 55 exit.
From Brewster/ Patterson take Route 22
to Route 55 to TACONIC
South to Todd Hill Rd (this is not an "actual" exit... this is
one of those "roads" that crosses
the TACONIC that you are allowed to turn on to.)
Make a left onto Todd Hill Rd. Follow Todd Hill
Road a few miles until LaGrange Elementary on your right.
(Or take Interstate 84 to TACONIC Parkway North and follow above
directions.... map it out to see which is shorter from your home.)

Take 84 East to Exit 3 in Connecticut (the Mall exit)
Follow as if you were going to the mall.
As you are exiting and facing the mall turn left.
You should now be on the road where Toys R Us is on your right and
Red Lobster and Olive Garden are on your left.
THIS IS THE ROAD YOU STAY ON--go straight through the traffic
light!! Follow on this road about a mile or so until you see the
WOOSTER SCHOOL on your right. Keep
going (not too fast!!) the
very next school is a blue sign MAIMONIDES
ACADEMY.... Maimonides is about 4/10 of a mile on the right after the stop
sign.
ALTERNATE ROUTE:
Take Interstate 84 to exit 1 in Connecticut; make a
right off the ramp and follow that road until stop ( about 2 miles or so).
At stop the street sign on your left will say Canterbury Rd the
sign on your left will say George Washington Highway.
Make a left at this stop. Follow
this road 1.2 miles until a stop. Go
straight after the stop... MAIMONIDES
ACADEMY
is .3 miles on
your left. THERE
IS A BLUE SCHOOL SIGN. ***

Mamaroneck Ave School
Nosband Ave, White Plains, NY
Allow 45-55 minutes from Carmel
684 South to 287 West White Plains exit Westchester Ave exit left onto Bloomingdale
Rd follow Bloomingdale Rd to end where it intersects with Mamaroneck Ave.
(Bloomingdale Ave appears to merge into Mamaroneck Ave so there is no
actual turn). Once on
Mamaroneck Ave first right is Bryant-- go to Bryant and make a right onto
Bryant and make first right onto Nosband Ave...
school is now on right.

Matthew Patterson Elementary School
South Street, Patterson, NY
Take Interstate 84 West until Rte 311 exit #18. Make
a right onto Route 311 (going towards Patterson). Follow Route 311 to
South Street. Make a right
onto South Street until school at the end.
South Street "dead ends" in the school parking lot.
From the Discovery Center. Take
Route 52 going towards Fishkill.
Turn right onto Route 311 Follow
Route 311 to South Street. Make
a right onto South Street until school at the end.

time !! Make a right onto South Street until school at the end.

FROM WESTCHESTER Interstate 684 -- take 684 North to Rte 22 North (going toward Pawling).
Follow Rte 22 to Rte 311. Make
a left onto Rte 311 after crossing the railroad tracks look for South
Street (on your left) turn left onto South Street.
Follow to the end--Matthew Patterson school dead ends on South
St.

Melrose School
Federal Hill Rd, Brewster, NY
From
the PCDC parking lot, make a left onto Vink Dr to the stop light, then
turn left onto Route 52. Continue
on Route 52 through 3 more lights then make a left onto Route 6.
Follow Route 6 to Route 312 (approx. 2 miles)
turn left onto Route 312 and follow it to the end which is Route
22. Make a right onto Route
22. Continue on Route 22 to
2nd light. Make a left onto
Milltown Rd. Follow
Milltown Rd approx. 1 mile to Federal Hill Rd-- there almost seems to be
a “Y” in the road-- make that right or veer right into the “Y”.
You are now on Federal Hill Rd-- follow for about 1 mile and it
should appear on your right.
FROM
684. Take 684 North to end
Rte 22 North going toward Pawling.
Turn right onto Milltown Rd.
Milltown Rd (I believe there is a traffic light)
Follow onto Milltown Rd. Follow
Milltown Rd approx. 1 mile to Federal Hill Rd-- there almost seems to be
a “Y” in the road-- make that right or veer right into the “Y”.
You are now on Federal Hill Rd-- follow for about 1 mile and it
should appear on your right.
**** FEDERAL HILL RD “VEERS” TO THE RIGHT

FROM CARMEL-- allow 40 minutes
Take the Taconic Parkway North to Arthursburg Rd.
This is not an "actual" exit... this is one of those
roads that exits from the Parkway. THIS
EXITS LEFT.... so I suggest that you get to your left lane immediately
after EXIT Rte 82. Arthursburg Road BECOMES Noxon Rd to so watch for this to
happen. Elementary is about 2
miles or so on the right on Noxon Rd... hence the name NOXON RD
ELEMENTARY!!
Please allow about 45 minutes from the Carmel area.
REMEMBER there are delays associated with the Tappan Zee Bridge
that may affect your commute time.

Parsons Memorial School
200 Halstead Ave., Harrison, NY
Take 684 south to the Hutchinson River Parkway
south-bound. Get off the
first exit, which should be exit #25: North Street, White Plains,
Harrison. At the light at the
end of the exit off ramp, make a left onto North Street (Which turns into
Harrison Ave.) At the 6th
traffic light, make a right onto Halstead Ave.
The school is on your right, after you pass your first traffic
light. Turn right into first driveway.
*** Special note... when approaching the third
traffic light (as you count up to the sixth light) stay straight, but it
bears a little bit to your right.

From Upper Westchester:
Take Saw Mill River Parkway south to Yonkers Avenue
West exit. Proceed right on
top of exit ramp. Continue on
Yonkers Avenue around curves, through several lights, until you see
Yonkers City Hall on the right. Go
one block past City Hall corner to next light (large apartment buildings
on the left and a small mall on the right) and make a LEFT onto Riverdale
Avenue. Go south on Riverdale through approximately four lights.
That's Culver Street and you are at the back of the school.
Make a right onto Culver. Mid-way
through block is breezeway entrance with easy access to the cafeteria. For front main entrance, proceed to next corner (Hawthorne
Avenue), make right, then a right onto Morris Crescent, a right onto
Purser Place--approximately mid way through the block you will see a LONG
driveway-- turn here and go to the end--this is the school’s
“private” parking lot!! Enter
through the door and turn left and then a right to the cafeteria.

Road School

South to 287 West White Plains -- Westchester Ave exit -- follow signs
for Westchester Ave stay to your left, then turn left onto Bloomingdale
make a right onto Maple and a left onto Post Rd ( Post Rd is also Rte
22)
Post Road School will be on your left, but you cannot turn left onto
Sterling Avenue where the parking lot is. You can continue to the
next light, Soundview Avenue and turn left and go around the
block (up the hill on SoundView, left onto Prospect at the first STOP
sign, then left again at the first STOP sign onto Sterling and back down
the hill) to the Post Road parking lot. The Cafeteria is adjacent to
the parking lot.

Take Route 6 towards the Jefferson Valley
Mall (going toward Peekskill, Mohegan Lake etc) Go through Mohegan
Lake continuing on Route 6. Past the Cortlandt Town Center on your left you will pass a
Shop Rite on your right. After
passing Shoprite you will come to an intersection at a traffic light.
This is Locust Avenue. Make
a right on Locust Avenue. Come
all the way down to the bottom of Locust.
At the bottom of Locust you will be at a blinker light.
Make a left at the blinker. You
are now on Oregon Rd. The
school is a few hundred feet on your right.
St. Columbanus is only 10-15 minutes from the Jefferson Valley
Mall.
FROM THE
TACONIC:
Get off at Rte 6. Take Rte 6 WEST (going toward Peekskill, Mohegan Lake etc) Go
through Mohegan Lake continuing on Route 6.

at the bottom of the ramp going North on 82. Go 2 miles and make a
