WICKED Long before Dorothy drops in, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. MARY POPPINS Based on P.I. Travers cherished stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film, Mary Poppins currently one of London's biggest sensations features the Sherman brothers original Academy Award-winning songs. The show has been created, in collaboration with Cameron Mackintosh, by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who has written the book, and the Olivier Award-winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who have composed new songs and additional music and lyrics. Her carpet bag is packed, her umbrella is unfurled, and Mary Poppins takes up residence at Broadway's magnificent New Amsterdam Theatre.. (NYC)
